Learning Opportunities at Nessah Educational and Cultural Center

A real estate professional who manages a diverse range of properties across California, David Raminfard has also gained success in the fabric industry with companies such as Luxury Fabrics, Inc., and NewPoint Fabrics, Inc. Alongside functioning as the president and CEO of KasLen Textiles, LLC, and NewPoint Fabrics, David Raminfard has maintained active membership with the Nessah Cultural and Educational Center for over three decades.

Soon after Rabbi David Shofet immigrated to California from Tehran, he founded Nessah Synagogue in 1980 to serve Iranian Jews. A small group that gathered to pray has since grown into the Nessah Educational and Cultural Center, which highlights the importance of not only education, but also the history and traditions to Iranian Jews.

Today, the Nessah Educational and Cultural Center continues to provide a diverse range of learning opportunities, including weekly classes, such as Sunday Shaharit accompanied by a sponsored breakfast. Children can learn Jewish values and prayers and how to read Hebrew with Nageela at Nessah. The Summer Soiree Lecture series has covered topics ranging from business ethics to relationships. Mr. Jack Maghen has taught Tefila Classes on the wisdom of prayer. These and other classes provide ongoing support to the center’s mission of education.
